From advocacy and skill development to sustainability and innovation, our initiatives are designed to strengthen the industrial ecosystem of Doddaballapur.
Initiatives taken during 2026
Performance audit regarding EODB in MSME is conducting by the Central Audit Team in DIC Bangaluru Rural District
The Central Audit Team conducting the Performance Audit on Ease of Doing Business (EODB) in the MSME sector visited the DIA Office and held an interactive session with industry representatives. The team was accompanied by Mr. N. Narendra Babu, Joint Director, District Industries Centre (DIC), Bangalore Rural District. The interaction focused on gathering valuable feedback from industry stakeholders regarding their experiences, challenges, and suggestions related to various government services and Ease of Doing Business initiatives. The session provided a constructive platform for meaningful dialogue, enabling participants to share practical insights and recommendations aimed at improving the overall business environment for MSMEs. The active participation and valuable contributions of the attendees played a significant role in supporting the objectives of the performance audit and fostering stronger collaboration between industry and government.
BESCOM - Industries interaction
The Doddaballapur Industries Association (DIA), in coordination with BESCOM, successfully organized a Stakeholders Meeting to discuss key issues related to power supply and BESCOM services affecting industries. The meeting provided a valuable platform for member industries to share their experiences, concerns, suggestions, and feedback on electricity supply, billing, infrastructure, and service quality. Senior BESCOM officials interacted directly with industrial consumers, addressing their queries and engaging in constructive discussions on industry-specific challenges. The interactive session facilitated meaningful dialogue between industry representatives and BESCOM, reinforcing collaborative efforts to improve service delivery and effectively address the needs of the industrial sector.
ESI Hospital Operationalisation Meeting Held - 25 Feb 2026
The stakeholder meeting with the ESIS Commissioner and his team was held today at the DIA Office regarding the operationalisation of the ESI Hospital at KIADB Industrial Area, Doddaballapur.
The meeting was addressed by Mr. Ajay Bhargava, President – DIA, and was attended by the Treasurer and Executive Committee members along with representatives from member industries.
The Commissioner informed that the facility is expected to be made functional within a month after taking charge from the Central Government, with OPD services to commence initially.
He also suggested coordinating with the Government to extend bus connectivity to the hospital and exploring ambulance support from industries.
Overall, the response from the Commissioner and his team was positive, and DIA will continue to work closely with the authorities for early commencement of services.

Interactive session on the New Labour Codes - 13 March 2026
The interactive session on the New Labour Codes held today at the DIA Auditorium was conducted successfully as scheduled. The session delivered by Adv. Mr. Praveen Kumar Hiremath, Partner – PSA Law Partners, was very informative and useful for the participating member industries.
The discussion provided valuable insights on the Labour Codes and their implications for industry compliance and HR practices. The interactive Q&A session also helped clarify several practical aspects relevant to our member industries.
DIA requests the participants to kindly share their thoughts and feedback about today’s session, which will help us in organizing more such useful programs for our member industries.

GST 2.0: Challenges and Way Forward
A special session was conducted on 27-11-2025 about GST 2.0: Challenges and Way Forward successfully with active participation from the Commissioner and his team, providing valuable inputs that significantly benefited our member industries.
Meeting with the Hon’ble MLA Shri Dheeraj Muniraju and the Deputy Commissioner
The coordination meeting with Hon’ble MLA Shri Dheeraj Muniraju and the Deputy Commissioner was successfully held on 18-11-2025 at the DIA Auditorium, bringing together key stakeholders and concluding with a collective decision to host the Job Mela on 19 December 2025 at Government College, Doddaballapura.
