The CSR Rules have been amended in February 2021 and have brought in very stringent measures to ensure mandatory CSR spending (see note attached).
While you plan your CSR projects, DIA would request you to consider spending on two major projects pertaining to the industrial area:
(a) Infrastructure improvement around your factories (road repairs, street lighting, pavements, drain covers, etc)
(b) Industrial Area CCTV Project
Why CSR Spend on Infrastructure/CCTV in the industrial area?
The public roads are used both by your employees and local villagers and are eligible for CSR under Rural Development Projects. This initiative will positively impact the safety/wellbeing of the daily commuters and also enhance the aesthetic image of your industry.
DIA is working with the police authorities on a major CCTV project to cover all areas of the industrial area. In view of the long term nature of this project, a separate fund “DIA CCTV Fund” has been created and contributions can be made to the same. This project will significantly help to reduce accidents and anti-social disturbances in the industrial area.
How DIA will assist you?
Inspite of our limited financial resources, we assure you that DIA will financially participate in the projects undertaken
Our team will support you in identifying the works to be done, advise you on clearances if any, from local authorities and provide examples of similar works in other places in the industrial area.
All CSR contributions made to DIA are eligible for 80G recognition and appropriate receipts/documentation will be issued for the same
